A WIN IS A WIN, BUT...
...the Redskins were inside the 10 five times, and didn't come away with any touchdowns! It feels more like a loss. I'm glad for the win, but today's game did nothing to make me feel better about Campbell and this offense. A few more games like this and the drums will start beating for a change. I think I can hear them faintly already- the raging caucophony of the disenchanted which is threatening to harmonize even now into a symphony of, "Collins, Collins, Collins, Collins..."

I'm not keen on Collins but I'm done with Campbell. How about a fourth string walk-on?
The last time Collins was starting for us we made a late season run into the playoffs. Campbell is so good, but he's allergic to the end zone or something. Upon further reflection I have to lay more blame on Zorn than Campbell. His play calling is truly suspect. I listened to the game on radio, and Campbell would successfully position them, but then Zorn would get stupid down in the red zone. I was frustrated.
I wonder if Campbell would flourish more with a hurry-up offense. I'd like to see the first two drives of every half feature the hurry up and then nail the rest of the half down with the running game.
Campbell did great last night really. He moved the ball well the entire game. I think this loss rests squarely on Zorn who was responsible for the play calling. Some of the play calling was mystifyingly poor. He clearly doesn't have confidence in campbell when it counts, and he has very little experience play calling as he was a quarterbacks coach before becoming a head coach. I think Zorn has to improve. Maybe I've been too hard on Campbell.
Someone check and see if Babe laufenberg is still ambulatory
