QUESTION.

If the tradition of our culture was not that the bride takes her husband's surname, but rather that, upon being married, both man and wife adopt an entirely new surname of their own choosing, what would you suggest for your family's new name?

Sarah and I decided we like the name Tate, but if this was the custom of our people we would go for some variation of "Pilgrim" such as "Sojourner." I personally like "Pilgrim" best. Josh and Sarah Pilgrim. It has a ring to it, right?

Arenadelsbersenger.

Just kidding.

I don't know...
maybe: Athon or Along or Emption. I would enjoy teasing my husband:
Reid-a-thon
Reid-along
Reid-emption
etc...
