It would be interesting to know what percentage of the world has access to a washing machine. I wonder also how many people may have a very limited wardrobe, and wear the same outfit for a lengthy amount of time between washings. I suspect there are many for whom there is no alternative. That is why I place my guess much higher. The unwashed masses in the third world are definately rocking some food stains.

I'm guessing much higher. I think maybe around 75-85%
I'd say around 45%.
what percentage are parents? add like 10 percent to account for us clumsy people, and bingo, there's your number.

I don't think third-world foods are as likely to lead to stains, and I also tend to believe you're overestimating the frequency of stainage.
Overweight people would probably have 95% or higher!!! The food always lands on a body mass during its gravity induced trip. This from experience. . .
I'm going to say 40.
