this is easy...OCTOBER!!! (As long as I live in one of the New England states) Fall colors, fall air, pumpkins, apples, temperature is perfect for Tshirt & jeans & grab a sweatshirt...I can't wait for October to come! Also - football!
I suppose I'd have to go with February. This is not my favorite month; but I think it would be the one that would provide the most opportunity for spending time with people, getting things accomplished, and reminding me why comas aren't all that bad. The other months are far too hectic.
I also choose October and am scratching my head with a perplexed expression on my face as I ponder February, whose only virtue is that it is mercifully brief- Possibly the most miserable 28 days on the calendar.
February remains in my mind as a hardliner, who obstinantly and uncompromisingly pursues a pro-winter policy, long after public opinion has swung towards spring. It puts down all hopes of an early spring with extreme violence and brutality, and buries all dissenters under a suffocating monotony of snow, cold, and an overcast sky. February has an iron fist, but March promises reform, and April achieves it.
I'm confused. October's a nice month with many good qualities, but I think several others present richer opportunities for refreshing recreation and renewed relationships.
I pick July. You can do anything but ski (assuming you ski), and you'll be able to see a far wider variety of people. Everyone's busy in the fall.
July, May, December, August, October, June, April, September, November, March, February, January.
April: Nature. Golf. Perfect southern weather. Pretty pastel sunday dresses. You can't help but smile when you step outside and feel that warm sunshine.
Being from California, I knew my answer before reading the other comments. It is October, through and through. Those winds, that promise in the air, the energy whipped up...
no fall for me, and no winter, either. if i have to lie down for eleven months, i want to be able to DO THINGS when i finally get up. I agree (strangely) with Steve and (stranger) Job. July is solid summer, hotness and coolness combined, and you can swim, among other things. if i never saw a colored leaf or snowflake again i would be FINE.

The month simply must have 31 days. I have it narrowed down to May, July, and December. I haven't yet decided.
I agree with liana for all the same reasons. Go October!

October is the golden month.
i haven't an original bone in my body.
assuming i still lived in the northeast u.s.a., it's october, through and through.
a golden month, indeed.

And I was born in February.
I stand with Steve.
July allows full use of all my limbs and digits. The movies are better, the grass greener.
I would miss the other holidays but as I've said before - the 4th provides you that rare holiday that requires so little on your part.
Also, can I just say -- this was a great question.

You break my heart, dearest!
Strangely? We agreed frequently in college! It's just that the debates were more memorable.
