QUESTION OF THE DAY

If you were offered a lifetime supply of any one product, which product would you choose?

I'd have to say gasoline, because even if we wean off it in a few years the amount I'd save by then would be astronomical. Gas is easily my biggest expense.

But if intangibles were available I'd be tempted by free airfare.

That's been a beautiful luxury in my life...

Have I already asked this question?

I thought about gasoline, but then it occurred to me that it is very possible that in my lifetime gasoline would be replaced by some other fuel source. I think it would be similar to choosing cassettes before the invention of the CD or beta before VHS.

nonetheless, at the $100+ a week i spend on gas.... it's definitely the first thought that came to my mind.

and as job said, even if it IS replaced, i still saved $100 per week in the meantime.

right now- diapers and wipes.
can they go together?
babies would be FREE!

Free airfare's nice, but my intangible would be skilled labor.

If it must be a product, I select vehicles. I wouldn't need to worry about repair bills, and I'd try to write the contract so I'd soon get a free flying car every few years.

If it must be a product in my kitchen, orange juice.

Funny,
My first thought was diapers too... but unless I had babies perpetually for a lifetime, it wouldn't be the best choice.

If I smoked, it would DEFINITELY be cigarettes. Yeah... But I don't so I'll have to say prints. As in photos, for my digital. For now, they're trapped on my laptop with the ever looming fear of a crash.

By the way, Josh. Where have you been?

If I was a crack addict I would choose crack, but I'm not so I will choose wives. What? Women aren't possessions? Don't be such a flaming libber! Alright!!! I choose (drumroll please) stamps- so I can flood the world with copies of my brilliant essay "Earth's Short Future." Of course Sarah's choice of free photocopying will compliment my choice nicely in spreading this much needed document to the four winds. (Sarah I am counting on you to choose free photocopying. It's for the greater good!)

um, free photocopying is much better. who needs diapers at 30 dollars a box every two weeks?
a lifetime supply of free photocopying...um, that we get for free right now anyway...is most definitely the best way to go.
go, photocopies!!!

oh, and sandy, pictures are good, but you could have a one in seventeen chance of having twins, and your chances of having another set are four times more likely than before...
you might not be having babies for the rest of your life, but you might have a bunch at a time...

which is pretty cool- not to be cruel. i think it's great.

postage is actually a pretty good call...your personal pulpit would be limitless.

Mass, mass mailings...

Not bad at all. But I would stick with gas and just floor it all day..
