What is the best thing you ever bought at a yardsale?

I bought 3 thermoses in Proctor once for a quarter apiece.

Nice, clean and of varied size.

I thought that was a pretty good find.

Can't recall anything really cool I bought, but I know someone who did buy something really cool. That's because my mom decided to sell all my original Star Wars figurines to a kid at our church for $0.25 each. I remind her of this whenever I come across some in stores that have been played with and still go for $15+ each.

I was once at a Houghton yard sale with a certain Sarah Paulson, before Tatehood, and while wondering about a cage containing a black wig that some back-country allegany county folk were trying to sell for five dollars, Sarah negotiated the purchase of her new guinea pig. She took it home and gave it a hair snip, and a rather choppy mullet revealed small black eyes, which had been out of use for what must have been some time.

I bought a grill last week at a yard sale and have already cooked on it 4 times!! I love it! $15. Thats cash money. I haggled the price and left a satisfied customer.
