"Ton COEUR est ma maison"...Vite, corrige, et efface mon message...Pendant que tout le continent dort encore...
En même temps, tu es le seul à comprendre le français, ici. Tant mieux! C'est comme si je parlais un langage codé. On peut communiquer sans que les autres comprennent. Technique sournoise mais efficace.
Je ne connais pas cette chanson mais je crois qu'elle exprime bien tes sentiments envers ta petite femme chérie.

I don't speak French, but, man-a-livey, is that girl attractive! I bet she's in a band...

When I was studying at the University of Laval I would watch Quebec's version of MTV which was called Musique Plus. One of Quebec's laws at that time was that all television programming was required to carry a certain portion in French. The summer I was there they played a lot of videos from all over the French speaking world- Zebda, MC Solar, Bisso Na Bisso, Les Coloques. My favorite was Bisso Na Bisso, which was a colaboration of rappers from Le Congo in west Africa. I bought their album, and Sarah really likes them too.

Translation- "Your heart is my home. My love is your roof. I need you"

It's a cool album. It didn't help my French much because it was liberally sprinkled with tribal languages and their accents made it very difficult for me to understand.

The album became a cult favorite among residents of Josh's dormitory, Shenawana Hall, and its glory has been passed along to their friends and family by those same residents, who still occasionally greet each other in this manner:

"Bisso na bisso."
"Bweinh."

The "bisso na bisso" cheer was also a favorite at soccer games, and I personally love to drive down the main street of small towns blaring my taped copy of their eponymous tune. Rap in a foreign language has a way of centering the mind.
