Can I just say something? A few things actually.
1) I went to the WBA's official blog. Curiosity demanded it.
2) I have TEN FOOT ceilings. Have you taken people like me into consideration? Is this game even possible at such distances?!
3) I did notice that the tournament doesn't start until november and I will be stateside by then... so if my mom lets us nail a bobber to her ceiling, I'm so in!
... just went back and read 'J' of How To Play. You totally covered ceiling height. My bad.

It is the "World" Bobberball Association. I think it would be awesome if you represented the Dark Continent. As for the 10 foot ceilings, I have checked with the rules committee, and given your unique circumstances they would agree to let you to either elevate your throwing platform by two feet, or, because the increased height of your ceiling does not advantage you, you may also play with a ten foot ceiling.
I have a bobberball kit with your name on it.
