Bowden is pretty fast, but is undisciplined in a typical 5 year old sort of way. His coach told me he likes to fall down every time he kicks the ball which is a problem, but watching him today he enjoyed some success dribbling the ball, and he passes pretty well.
He is the most substantial kid on his team, with regards to stature, but he is not the most aggressive, which I think is a nice balance.
He has a little trouble listening to his coach who is a very nice (and very patient) lady named Mrs. Reed.
"Stretch it out, Bowden."
I think Lucy would rather be out there playing with the older kids, but she will have her turn soon enough.
Bowden is number eight. I'm trying to get him to legally change his name to "Ocho."

Aww He's on the right path!
And eight used to be my number!
I'm glad to see Bowden playing the great sport of soccer. I also like how the field has sponsors. Camp Maranatha's field could be sponsored by Band-Aid, the Red Cross, and Neosporin.
