I CAN'T BELIEVE THE NEWS TODAY. I CAN'T CLOSE MY EYES AND MAKE IT GO AWAY.
The Redskins released Gregg Williams and Al Saunders. This just doesn't make any sense to me. They are two of the best in the business. I will say it plainly- Williams should be the next coach of the Washington Redskins. This strikes me as a huge mistake.

Something rotten is definitely going on in DC. They fired Williams, who should have been a future head coach, made it clear the new coach will have no say over what players he uses, and hired assistant coaches thus taking that power away from a head coach as well. They say they want a high profile guy, but any high profile coach is smart enough to stay away from that mess. That is unless they're just after a huge paycheck, but even that won't make them care enough to try and right the ship. Sadly for you, it looks like a return to the pre-Gibbs insane Redskins.
