Francis Schaeffer - We were barely contemporaries I know - Reading his "How Should We Then Live" changed my life and had a lot to do with forming my current worldview. Cool question Nikta.
I guess Bill Gates and the entire computer group would be an influence for sure. I have enjoyed the fruits of their labor both at home and at work. Right now for instance. Not sure that was what you meant and not as edifying as John's response.
