GARDEN REPORT

My beets are thriving beneath their protective chicken-wire shield, the hollyhocks are blooming and our Pumpkin plant has overflowed the small confines of the planter I built and is beginning to encroach on the kid's new swing set.

It would appear that a family of Widjiwats has taken up residence beneath the broad shady leaves of our pumpkin plant.

With mussel shell roofs
And birchen walls
Widjiwats construct
Their summer halls
