JOURNAL 6/2/2007

Today was the camp's work day. We got a lot accomplished around the camp with the hard volunteers who came up for the weekend. I spent the better part of the day with the Barr family repainting all of the lines on the volleyball/basketball court as well as the backboards and poles. It was a good day with a lot of people working cheerfully, and the consensus was that we got a lot accomplished. In the afternoon I was lifeguard at the pool and a few brave souls went in for a dip although the majority thought the water was too cold. In the evening sarah and I hosted a marshmallow roast and campfire in the bowl. Also worked more on the paper mache (I'm never sure how to spell that) deer. It is painted now and looking like some sort of deer-like creature. Good enough for four-year-olds.
