PICNIC

It was a beautiful day here in Idyllwild so we had a picnic. Sarah made sandwiches, zuchini bread, and muffins. She also put together baggies with blackberries, strawberries, and red peppers in them. It was delicious. A couple of weeks ago I hauled this picnic table to the top of this hill and situated it under the shady branches of a live Oak tree. It is always shady there and there also seems to always be a little bit of a breeze up there, which makes it a pretty ideal place for a picnic.

Sarah is due June 1st, and it shows. That ship is under full sail! C'mon Jack!

Lucy Spoon... my little girl.

Check out the currant bushes growing along the stream. They are profuse! If they produce enough berries this year I may try my hand at turning them into something edible.

Bowden-bose!
