How on earth did you find a picture of Ridgecrest??? What fond memories. I really would like to see the glass strewn back stairway into the playground!
I used to raise the flag on that pole every morning. I also remember scouring that green and the field adjacent to it looking for violets for Joel as he prepared to make his latest "edible wild plants" concoction of violet jam. Violets, knox, and a whole bunch of sugar sure got it done.
