THIS MORNING...

This morning as I was pan frying some sausages for breakfast Bowden came running in and proudly announced "Daddy...Daddy...I dressed myself... all by myself." I glanced down and observed that he was wearing a pair of swimming trunks and nothing else. I glanced out the window at the snow on the ground, and then back atBowden. "Good job Bowden... give me five!" Then I picked him up and asked "So, what are you gonna do today?" and he answered "Collect my dreams."

I don't know him...but he sounds pretty darn great. I suppose he would have to be...he IS on the short list for Bella after all.

Oh Josh - this brought tears and laughter to me all at the same time - I do love hearing these wonderful stories of the new generation of Tates. What a wonderful response to a young man who had, in his mind, reached a new milestone. Thanks for brightening my Christmas Eve and letting me be a part of your memory making. Merry Christmas to the whole family. Aunt Roxie

...and a very belated Merry Christmas to you as well Aunt Roxanna. Thanks for coming by the ol' blog. It's a fun way to stay connected.

Bowden has been a little less fun for the past few days. He woke up with a stomach bug the day after Christmas, and is only now approaching normal again. Lucy is coming into her own though. Her personality is emerging more and more every day, and she is talking a little as well as walking, of course. They had a wonderful time with their cousins in VT.
