Sure. Go to youtube.com and set up an account. It's breathtakingly easy. Then you can download videos from any video format and recorder and it gives you an html code for each video that you can copy and paste into a blog post and it'll show the video.

If you want the video appears directly on your blog you have to paste the "embed html" that you see by editing your video on the source (html code). This code begins by: "object width", and ends by: "object"

I know you didn't ask me the question but I answer.
Cause what you did is different. You paste the public url instead of the html code... It is written on the youtube site: "Copy and paste the code below to embed the video".
